DEAR DEIDRE: I MET a guy on holiday in Spain and I don’t know whether to visit him there.
We only spent four days together but I fell for him big time. He is from Tunisia and was working in Spain for an IT company.
He has asked me to go back, then to Tunisia to meet his family and then he wants to come and live in the UK. He says he loves me.
I’m aware that he is very much from a different culture and we don’t have a lot in common. He’s 44 and I’m 28.
Does he just see me as a meal ticket to get into the UK?
DEIDRE SAYS: Trust your instincts and don’t rush into anything. If you really fell for him, you could go back to Spain in a while and see how you get on over a week, say.
But be clear that you’re not entering into any arrangement to get him in to the UK in the near future.
